Due to the prestigious advisory board and industry partners, the Broadway Women’s Fund benefits from one of the most powerful knowledge bases in the industry.
Valerie Novakoff Britten
Founder and Managing Director
Valerie has worked in many of Broadway’s top administrative offices. As Associate Producer at Tony Award-winning producing office Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, the first Broadway producing office on the Inc. 5000 list, she manages investor relations and serves as associate producer on all Broadway-bound projects.
Fast Company and The New York Times published her groundbreaking study on gender parity among Broadway producers. She is one of very few individuals studying gender parity in the commercial Broadway landscape and frequently shares her findings on panels and conferences in the finance and Broadway industries.
She was the Associate Producer of the Tony Award-winning revival of Once On This Island and Assistant Producer of An Act of God starring Sean Hayes. She previously worked as a Finance Assistant and General Management Assistant at 321 Theatrical Management (Wicked, Fun Home), and in the offices of Tony Award-winning producer Orin Wolf (The Band’s Visit, Once), Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys, The Who’s Tommy), and The Drama League.
